The Communtiy Design Center of Pittsburgh is pleased to announce a new grant initiative called the Civic Design Grant. This grant of up to $50,000 will be awarded through the CDCP’s Design Fund program as a complement to its ongoing grant-making activities. This new grant celebrates three significant anniversaries. As Pittsburgh celebrates its 250th, and as the CDCP turns 40, this annual grant award kicks off the Design Fund's 20th birthday with the largest grant offered in the program's history. Since 1988, the program has awarded over $1 million in grants to community-based organizations in the City of Pittsburgh, which has been the catalyst for over $95 million in new community reinvestment.

This grant will require a one-to-one match of committed funds. Like all Design Fund grants, this grant will support preliminary architectural planning and design for community-based revitalization projects within the City of Pittsburgh. An application and guidelines are available in PDF format by clicking on the links below.
