Through its Design Fund program, the CDCP makes an average of $80,000 a year in grants to enable community-based organizations to hire architectural and planning assistance at the early stages of revitalization projects.  Design Fund grants have supported planning for housing and commercial development, community centers, parks, playgrounds and trails.
